‟We get away together. We do life together. We study God's word together. And we make decisions as a team, together. That’s how Houston Interiors started and that’s why it's successful today”

Luis Garcia has been a part of the Houston Interiors family since June of 2019 and is one of our greatest stories of success. Having risen through the ranks, Luis now serves as our Superintendent as of February 2024. We started a Leadership Training Program in 2020 where Luis was one of the first to graduate and shortly began leading jobs as a foreman in the field. He took to the role well, enjoying working in tandem with the project managers on some of our biggest jobs to date, including a 12 story JP Morgan Chase overhaul and more recently the construction of Waller Jr. High. Luis showed talent and initiative, including the creation of a video walkthrough of the Waller project, and eventually worked his way to an Assistant Superintendent promotion back in October of 2023. Only a few months later, he found himself promoted yet again to his current role where his years in the field and the leadership experience he gained are invaluable assets as our new Superintendent. We are so proud of Luis and are excited to welcome him to the Houston Interiors’ leadership team.

Luis Garcia was born and raised in Mexico City, but now lives in the Cypress area of Houston with his new bride, Stephanie. When Luis is not wearing his Houston Interiors cap, he’s spending time with his wife. They enjoy simply living life together whenever and however they can, often going out for a night of dancing, trying any new local spot they can find, or making there way to an Astros game. If all else fails, they turn to their love of road trips and find a destination far away to enjoy the drive together.

Favorite Quote:

“stay hungry, stay foolish”

"I think its referencing the fact that you’ve got to stay hungry because you want to find a motivation, no matter what it is, then you’ve got to be a little bit foolish enough to think you can actually make it. This is the perfect example, I would never, ever imagine this was going to happen to me, this job, but something was like just go for it and here I am."

Favorite Verse:

Psalm 23:4 “Even though I walk through the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me…”

“We said this every day before I went to school growing up, the whole Psalm 23, but that verse stuck out to me. I do believe God takes care of me, He’s been great to me and my wife and my family. But every day, in my car, I say it in my mind. God’s with me.”
