Rick Cary joined the Houston Interiors Project Manager and Estimator Team in February of 2023 and brings with him over 40 years of experience in the construction industry. He began his career immediately after graduating from Northbrook High School here in Houston, Texas. Over his extensive career, Rick has gained experience in both commercial and industrial construction across several trades including drywall, sitework, concrete, and glazing. Serving many years as a Foreman, Superintendent, Estimator, and Project Manager in the construction industry. He enters Houston Interiors as a valuable, multifaceted team member whose on-the-job knowledge and dedication to service play pivotal roles in his success here at HI.

Rick and David have quite an interwoven past, though it wasn’t revealed until they sat down for his interview. They both grew up in the Spring Branch area, graduated the same year, have many relations in common, and even worked on some of the same projects, but they did not meet one another until sharing lunch at his interview. God truly had a plan for Rick Cary and Houston Interiors and from the moment he began working here, he has felt like family.

When he’s not in the office, Rick has quite the green thumb and enjoys spending daily time in his home garden. He is also an avid reader and enjoys the outdoors while sharing these passions with his two daughters and one son. He and his wife of 34 years currently live in the Northwest Area of Houston.
